Grand Central → NYPL/Bryant Park → Theater District
Allow 45–60 minutes in the concourse; step away from commuters rather than blocking working passages.

Choose the Theater District branch already along the route; adobada/carne asada eaten promptly, with a queue buffer.
Walk/subway north for a compact 60–90 minute park segment, then rest. Wet/icy weather favors the break; check elevators for a step-free transfer.
